The Internet Escort’s Handbook

Safe, Sane, Successful Escort Work is Possible!

Literary Sex Ed for Escorts

I’m always talking about feeding your mind. I realized there is a gap in education when I read an older escort’s blog post where she discussed reading, for the first time, a book I assumed every woman to have read as early in life as possible.

In the interest of a rounded education, here’s a list of erotic books escorts would do well to read. Some of these books have been turned into movies. Forget that. Read the book. Just as it is difficult to bring horror to film (ask Stephen King), it’s even more difficult to capture real sexual heat on film.

Many of these books have creative writing styles and ways of expression. So you can look on this exercise as a short literary course — if you need the excuse. Don’t expect all of these books to be to your sexual tastes. That’s the point. This is an educational exercise, not a sex lesson.

These are books I’ve enjoyed for various reasons and feel have value for escort work. If there’s a book you love not on this list, contact me and make me want to read it! I’m always open to new literary experiences. It’ll go here.

I recommend first readings to be done privately so your response is genuine and uninhibited; although reading hot books in public could be a thrill to a certain type of girl.

In no particular order:

A lot of these books have darker themes in them. (I find that more interesting than candlelit dinners and walks on the beach.) Just because you read a certain book doesn’t mean anyone expects you to behave that way. It’s a cheap vicarious adventure and only as vivid as you want it to be. Expanding your sexual knowledge is important to gaining a deeper understanding of your clients, yourself and the world of human nature.
